Humpty Dumpty gets a helping hand
Caledon Priceclub proved that their store is not only about the business they receive but also about what they can give back to their community. They recently donated a box filled with toys to the Humpty Dumpty Crèche in Tesselaarsdal. The toys were handed over to the school by manager Heinri Thomas and Mrs. Smal, also from Caledon Priceclub.

News1 Maxi’s Sasolburg supports Community.
In conjunction with local radio station 90.6 Maxi’s Sasolburg Everyday held a competition throughout the month of October, Wwhere customers / listeners had to motivate the reasons why they should win a wheel chair. This competition was promoted on 90.6FM with adverts during October. On the day of the prize handover local DJ Darryl Grant hosted a live broadcast from the store promoting in-store specials and the various give-aways on offer. Anneline Labuschagne , from Sasolburg, winner of the 1st wheelchair was interviewed on air during the Saturday activities and 2nd winner June Nicholls, from Vanderbijlpark, is very well know and involved with the School for the disabled in Vereeniging. After 28 years of trading a WELCOME Café, Manual & Florinda Martins decided to join the FDC FAMILY. WELCOME Café was demolished & new premises built for WELCOME 7/11 VREDENBURG, situated on the West Coast, Cape Province.
Welcome 7/11 opened on 29 October 2008 & sales have boomed since it's opening!

The importance of rewarding your staff accordingly can never be under estimated as done by Dimitri Prousaloglou from Powels Supermarket in Aliwal North in presenting his staff with certificates at a awards dinner attended by FDC representative Bertie Badenhorst.
